I have lived in Ashford the majority of my life with my career paths focusing on making a difference in people's lives. I'm now raising my children in Ashford and have been inspired to assert my voice and fight for a better Ashford. Having a family really focuses one's priorities and sharpens the eyes to the everyday struggles that we are all facing and what the crumbling infrastructure will do to our future if we sit back and do nothing. This has motivated me to do everything I can to make sure families can have a brighter future while still helping people today.I believe in the gift of education, the integrity of hard work and the possibility to make a better life for our children.If elected, Euan Anckorn and Sharon McCormack will prioritise the following as Councillors:• Fighting for suitable infrastructure for all new developments.• Protecting Ashford’s green spaces, including the green on Quantock Drive and the Ashford Green Corridor.• Campaigning for more local GPs and greater public health services in order to reduce waiting times.
